Tragic accident kills seven
In a tragic accident in Colorado 7 people died who were traveling in a sports utility vehicle. It plunged off an overpass and after that hit a concrete embankment. Unfortunately no one was saved.
It is not clear what caused the accident. It could have been the weather or drunken driving or stray animal. The investigators have not ruled out over speeding. The cause has yet to be ascertained. The autopsy today will reveal some clues, which might help decide the cause. Another mystery is the people who were in it. They have not been identified as yet. There is no clue to their age and name. Gilbert Mares, a Colorado state trooper. The S.U.V., a Chevrolet Suburban, was registered in Alberta, Canada.
It is estimated that out of the seven who died there was an infant, a toddler, 2 women and three men. They did find one drivers license in the wreck but it is very difficult to identify whom the license belonged to and who was driving.
The vehicle veered into the median on Interstate 25 near Johnstown, 40 miles north of Denver, plunged off an overpass and went airborne for 40 to 50 feet before hitting an embankment and bursting into flames, he said.“Not only is it burned, it has a lot of crushed deformation from hitting the concrete,” Trooper Mares said.
