When considering other forms of travel, I believe cruising is one of the safest (and funnest) ways to travel. Marine accidents are rare, and the likelihood of being involved in one is very low. No matter what way you decide to travel, there are risks involved. At least you have a better chance of living through the ordeal, unlike airplanes where you’re almost certainly dead if it crashes.
